Dr. Sayid Fahad Nizar

Dr. Sayid Fahad Nizar is an accomplished consultant in the Rheumatology Department at Aster MIMS Kannur. He has expertise in bringing relief to patients suffering from Arthritis and Rheumatic illnesses. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical college, Kochi in the year 2011 followed by MD Internal Medicine from the prestigious Fr Muller's Medical College, Mangalore 2015.

Later He was assigned as Consultant in Department of Internal Medicine at Indiana Hospital & Heart Institute, Mangalore. He has gained vast experience in treating tertiary care Referral patients during this tenure stretched between 2015-2020. Later He successfully completed his Post Doctoral Fellowship in Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology from ChanRe Rheumatology & Immunology Centre for Research (CRICR) Bengaluru, Karnataka(2022) one among the finest Institutions in the region where various research oriented academic activities & clinical trials has been meticulously conducted in the field of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology under the mentorship of Dr. Chandrasekhara S, who is the current President Elect of IRA (Indian Rheumatology Association).

Apart from being recognised as a Lifetime member of the organization IRA in 2022,Dr. Sayid Fahad is also pursuing his EULAR course for Rheumatic Diseases as well as PgDip in Rheumatology at Universal of South Wales, Cardiff UK. His areas of expertise lies in treating common arthritis conditions like Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis to complicated Immune related conditions like SLE, Myositis, Systemic Sclerosis & Vasculitis. His other Interests are in areas of Allergy, Reproductive Immunology & Fibromyalgia.
